Charging stations on Dandyvej in Vejle
There will soon be three hypercharger charging stations ready to charge your electric or hybrid car on Dandyvej in Vejle. Trekantens El Teknik in Vejle has been tasked with establishing the new charging stations for Sperto. Sperto is part of Norlys and is fully focused on rolling out more charging points in Denmark. The great focus on charging stations, and renewable energy projects in general, is also something you can feel at Trekantens El Teknik. There are more and more tasks of this kind. The company are specialists in all types of electrical work for private and small and medium-sized commercial projects. This is also how the approach to the hypercharger charging station project is.
DanCables and Solar Danmark have delivered the cables to Trekantens El Teknik. For this project, approx. 50 meters Alukaflex ECO 5×95 mm² and 250 meters Alukaflex ECO 1×240 mm². It is a flexible class 5 installation cable in aluminum that can withstand being buried in the ground. The three charging stations will each be 300 kW and will be able to charge two electric or hybrid cars at once.
Easy to work with
For the two electricians from Trekantens El Teknik, who have been responsible for installing the charging stations, say enthusiastically “It has been a really good experience working with Alukaflex ECO. It has been easy to strip and bend the cable into place. The flexibility makes it easy to mount in the board and the charging stands. So it has solved the job very satisfactorily.”
Alukaflex ECO at a glance
Alukaflex ECO is a very flexible 1 kV installation cable in aluminum designed for fixed installation. The flexible aluminum conductor provides a weight reduction of up to 48% compared to traditional Class 1 and 2 copper installation cables. The cable has a bending radius of 6X D and CPR fire class is Dca in cross sections from 50 – 500 mm².
